Poetry is my way of making sense of my external and internal worlds. I find it meditative. Difficult. Invigorating.  

 

I've been deeply connected to nature from an early age, which is reflected in poems based in the Rocky Mountains and Basin and Range geological topographies. Relationships, many of these familial, are intertwined with meditations on landscape – its beauty, harshness, and fragility.
